As
voted on at our 2016 reunion in Tucson our 2017 reunion will be in
Colorado Springs, Colorado. We
will be staying at the Clarion Hotel 314 W Bijou Street, Colorado
Springs, CO 80905. Our Starting date is Tuesday 10/10/17 and head
for home on Friday 10/13/17.

Rate: $84.00 Plus 10.25

Suite: $94.00 plus 10.25 percent tax
Suite
has a living area, bedroom and two baths
Included in both is a hot breakfast. Please
note at either choice the complementary hot breakfast is the only
food available there, but there is a Denny’s restaurant across the
street.

Alaska Nike veteran’s reunion.
Each
vet has until 09/26/2017 to place the reservation but please don’t
wait. You have until 24
hours prior to check in date to cancel your reservation without
penalty.
In
addition, we will rent a suite as our hospitality gathering space. It
will be on the ground floor and exits to a patio for smokers. This
costs $84.00 a day so we will charge $15.00 per person. This
hopefully gives us enough to pay for the suite and to stock it with
beverages and snacks. If
not, we will pass the hat.
There
are many things to do in the area and we will allow members to
arrange activities at the reunion such as Garden of the Gods, Cog
Railway and Pikes Peak. A
shuttle is available for trips of up to three miles for nearby
activities. This allows
considerable freedom in our activities. We are checking on the
possibility of one group activity, a tour at the USAF Academy.
We will
plan a banquet, probably at a German restaurant about a mile from
the hotel. We have made
not made a firm reservation at a restaurant yet. We probably will
not collect in advance from you for that meal. This
will be informal, just a get together for good food, good company
and a good time.
